TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions will apply to all transactions online with Outdoor Style.

All references to "us" or "we" refer to Outdoor Style, which is a trading name of Jones Outdoor Clothing Limited. "You" or the "customer" refers to the person responsible for placing the order.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions will affect your statutory rights.

Making A Purchase
We've tried to make the purchasing process as easy online as if you were actually in our retail premises in Wilmslow. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the Shopping Cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept most UK-issued credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, Electron and Solo) but not American Express. If the card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of the order.

Unlike some internet businesses, we do NOT process your credit/debit card details until your order is ready to ship.

No orders will be accepted without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder and his/her registered address. However, goods may still be delivered to a second address.

Shipping And Handling
We deliver to all addresses covered by Royal Mail in the UK, including the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Your order will normally be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery and carriage is FREE.

Your order will be delivered as soon as possible and we aim to despatch your goods within five working days (this may be extended during busy periods). The Royal Mail Special Delivery service requires a signature on receipt and if no signatory is available when they attempt to deliver, a card will be left, detailing the delivery/collection options.

While we make every effort to ensure prompt delivery, we cannot guarantee any delivery times and we cannot be held responsible for any failure to deliver at any given time.

In the event that we cannot deliver your order or a part of your order, we will inform you within three working days.

Should the item purchased be the incorrect size and duly returned for replacement, we will not make handling charges for the despatch of the replacement item. However, if the replacement is subsequently returned for refund, we will make a charge of £4.99 as a contribution towards our postage/packing costs.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
All prices on this website include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%, except for children's boots which are VAT free.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee
In the event of a warranty claim, UK law and manufacturer's terms and conditions apply.

All products are guaranteed for twelve months (unless otherwise stated) from the original date of invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear and tear due to defective workmanship or materials so long as the product was used for its intended purpose. This guarantee excludes damage caused by accident, neglect or misuse (use for other than the intended purpose of the item).

Privacy Policy
We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

Returns Policy
RETURNS:- Non faulty goods.
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us in an unused condition, complete with packaging, within 28 days of the date of purchase and we will refund the full purchase price. Please note that items which have been used will be deemed to have been accepted by you and therefore cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Any footwear returned to us for refund MUST be in its original condition. If they show signs that they have been worn outside, we will have no alternative but to return the footwear to you. However, we will retain the item until the charges for re-delivery have been paid by the customer.

Please do not despatch any items to us until we have replied to you, providing you with a Returns Number.

RETURNS:- Faulty goods
In the event of a product failing, kindly e-mail us with details of the product, fault and age. Please do not despatch any items to us until we have replied to you, providing you with a Returns Number. A proof of purchase will be necessary and the item must be returned in a clean and dry condition, as any items returned in a state other than above will be returned to the sender due to Health & Safety regulations.

Please note that products may be sent to the manufacturers for evaluation. We will make every effort to ensure that product complaints are dealt with efficiently, but we cannot be held responsible for any delays.
